Welcome to the Malaprop of the day!

I follow the order to the wrong-worders. Malapropism runs deep within my veins, handed down from generations of odd-balls. I have added countless words to my computers dictionary challenging the sanctity of our very language. And now, I'd like to bestow them upon the masses. Clusters of phrases gone horribly wrong, wrong words that for some odd reason make sense and a bevvy of others that I happen to make up at any random minute that make no sense at all.
I'll be a word pimp, if you will. I'll make them, send them out onto the streets and pass them around, poor little things. So without further adieu, here she is, fresh off the small town bus! The malaprop of the day is:

psychosomosis- a psychosomatic episode caused due to the absorption of excessive amounts of media.

i.e. After reading the five articles on the Swine flu, I was struck down by an unfortunate case of psychosomosis, who's symptoms include but are not limited to: sore throat, rash, fever, paranoia, panic, excessive excuses for leaving bed and a CNN induced eye twitch.
