Pseudo-single Parenting

Pseudo single parenting- a new form of parenting where one parent is absent due to work, military duty, or other circumstances while one parent rears the children a'la solo for the majority of the time.
The pseudo-single parent most often appears distracted and frazzled, yet there are others (so I hear) that do relatively well. P-S parents experience all of the responsibilities of a single parent (cooking, cleaning, soccer, etc.) and none of the perks (having random one-nighterswith strangers and getting hammered and going skinny-dipping when the kids are gone). Contrarily, they have all of the benefits of a marriage (secure relationship, never having to deal with dating again, financial stability) without the contractually obligatory bi-weekly sex.
Pseudo-single parents have the balls of a single parent with the odd quirks that only occur after having been married.

We clearly share similar parenting experiences and views.
I've been reading one that I'm hooked on - http://todayscliche.com/.
I have a feeling you'd get a lot out of it.

Incredible job on your blog; keep it up.

    Thanks,
